Who we are

Commitment Pathway (“we,” “us,” the “Platform”) is a recruiting platform for female prep hockey, operated by Delta Hockey Academy in Delta, British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to players, parents, academies, and college coaches.

Questions about this policy or your information can be sent to jordan.dhpt@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Player profile information, provided by a player’s academy or by the player: name, graduation year, position, height, shot, hometown, jersey number, team history, game statistics, academic information such as GPA, highlight-video links, and a short biography. Many players are minors (see Youth athletes and consent below).
  • Account information. Academy administrators, players, and parents register with an email address and password. College coaches and recruiters sign in with Google, and we receive the name and email address associated with that Google account. Coaches may optionally add their school and title.
  • Activity information. When a published player profile is viewed, we log the profile viewed and the time. If the viewer is a signed-in coach, that view is associated with their account; otherwise it is recorded as anonymous. We also store the players a coach saves to their watchlist.
  • Publicly available hockey information that we compile automatically, including player statistics from league feeds (such as the CSSHL), NCAA program rosters and coaching-staff directories from public athletics websites, and publicly announced college commitments from public commitment listings.
  • Technical information such as standard server logs generated automatically when you use the Platform.

How we use information

  • To build and display player recruiting profiles and directories.
  • To give academies recruiting intelligence — program openings, commitments, and coaching-staff directories.
  • To let college coaches discover players, save them to a watchlist, and contact them through the channels a profile makes available.
  • To show an academy which coaches have viewed its players’ profiles.
  • To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Platform, and to comply with legal obligations.

Youth athletes and consent

The Platform is about youth hockey players, many of whom are minors. A player’s profile is only made publicly visible when the operating academy confirms it holds consent from the player and, where applicable, the player’s parent or legal guardian. Profiles without consent on file are kept private.

Parents, guardians, and players may ask us to access, correct, or remove a player’s information, or to withdraw consent and unpublish a profile, at any time by emailing jordan.dhpt@gmail.com. We do not knowingly make a minor’s profile public without that consent.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as described here:

  • With the player’s academy, which manages that player’s profile.
  • Publicly. A published profile and the player directory are visible to anyone, including college coaches and the general public. That is the purpose of a public profile.
  • With service providers who operate the Platform on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication, and hosting), Vercel (application hosting), and Google (sign-in for coaches). These providers process information under their own terms and may store it on servers located outside Canada.
  • For legal reasons, if required to comply with law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of players, users, or the public.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent for a player’s public profile. Coaches can remove saved players from their watchlist at any time and can request deletion of their account. To make any of these requests, email jordan.dhpt@gmail.com.

Data retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed to operate the Platform and for legitimate business or legal purposes, and we delete or unpublish it on request as described above. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including access controls and row-level security — to protect information, but no method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
