Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Commitment Pathway (the “Platform”), a recruiting platform for female prep hockey operated by Delta Hockey Academy in Delta, British Columbia, Canada (“we,” “us”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

The Platform hosts player recruiting profiles, a public player directory, and recruiting information for NCAA women’s hockey — including program openings, commitments, and coaching-staff directories compiled from public sources. It lets college coaches discover players and save them to a watchlist, and it gives academies tools to manage their players’ profiles.

Academy administrators, players, and parents access the Platform by invitation from their academy. College coaches and recruiters sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current, and notify us of any unauthorized use.

An academy that submits or publishes a player’s information represents that it has the authority and the consent needed to do so — including, for a player who is a minor, consent from the player’s parent or legal guardian. Academies are responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit and for keeping it current. A profile is made public only when consent is on file, and consent may be withdrawn at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree that you will not:

• scrape, crawl, bulk-copy, or otherwise systematically extract data from the Platform, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it or to any non-public data;
• use player contact information for anything other than legitimate recruiting, or to harass, intimidate, or contact a player in a manner that violates applicable rules or law;
• misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use another person’s account;
• use the Platform to violate any applicable law or any recruiting rules that apply to you, including NCAA rules governing contact with prospective student-athletes; or
• copy, resell, or republish Platform content except as expressly permitted.

You are solely responsible for your compliance with any recruiting rules and regulations that apply to you.

Recruiting information on the Platform — including statistics, rosters, coaching-staff directories, openings, and commitments — is compiled from third-party and publicly available sources and is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or current, and you should verify it independently before relying on it. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCAA, any conference, or any college or university. School names and marks are used only to identify those institutions.

The Platform and its original content, features, and design are owned by Delta Hockey Academy and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Player-supplied content remains the responsibility of the submitting academy or player, who grant us the right to host and display it for the purpose of operating the Platform. Third-party content and marks remain the property of their respective owners.

The Platform relies on third-party services (including Supabase, Vercel, and Google) and may reference or link to third-party websites and sources. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any recruiting outcome will result from its use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Delta Hockey Academy and its personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Delta Hockey Academy and its personnel from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms or of any applicable law or third-party right.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we believe these Terms have been violated or to protect players, users, or the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts located in British Columbia will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Platform.
